A Day in Xativa
Xativa is about 40 minutes south west of Valencia, and well worth a visit. The town has the imprint of many different civilisations. With the castle being the best place to survey the valley. There are plenty of shops in the new town and the old town is which dates from the 16th to 18th century is steeped in history. We found a great place in the old town for lunch, and then went to explore the castle. The castle is very big and has plenty to see, although much of it has been restored. However worth the visit.

Britains forget to pack their pants
Britain's are so keen to get away to sunnier climes, some don't even remember to pack their pants.
Around 3% forget to pack their undies, with 14% forgetting plug adapters and 12% leaving without a phone charger, according to a study by comparison site TravelSupermarket.com.
Almost a quarter of those surveyed admitted leaving their packing until the day before setting off, and 5% only started a few hours before flying.

Cha Sisco
This is one of my favourite places for lunch in Vinaros, for €13 you get a high quality three course lunch with wine and water, while looking at the beach. The chocolate mouse is to die for.
