Just a short distance from Maestrat Park is the Panaramica Golf and Country Club, designed by Bernhard Langer and built to the typical American style of narrow fairways and well cared for rough, making it a very enjoyable course.

It really is tranquil at Maestrat Park, with the sound of birds.  Yet within 11 minutes I was ordering our Tapas lunch on the promenade at Vinaros.

SPANISH wine regions are increasingly opting for higher-quality produce in an effort to combat the problem of dwindling harvests. Grape harvests and wine production are down by a quarter, with the area’s 46 wineries now producing around 3.5 million bottles, about a million fewer than five years ago.
